almost swallowed by a whale recount

 Hello Readers,

In room 9 we are learning how to do a recount. as yer 6's we need to say who, why, what, where, when and how. we have also been focusing on using dialogue, emotions and strong vocabulary. here is the video of the diver almost getting swallowed by a whale

here is my writing of me pretending im the diver in the interview.

Interviewer: So you had this incredible experience and are lucky to be alive.

Diver: Yes, I was almost swallowed by a Brutus Whale,

known for being off the coast of South Africa where I was diving.

Interviewer: Did you see the whale coming to you.?

Diver: No, I was too busy taking pictures of the sardine run and other marine life.

Interviewer: How did you feel while in the Whale's mouth

Diver: I stayed calm because there was no time to be terrified or to panic.I felt scared and worried because if it did end up swallowing me then I would have drowned.

I also didn’t want to drown.

Interviewer: What did it look like inside the whale's mouth.

Diver: It just went pitch black, I couldn't see anything and I didn’t try to wiggle out because I was stuck between the

teeth so I would have gotten an injury or get a really bad scrape.

please comment and tell me what you think about my writing have a good day byeee.

  1. Hello Casper.
The first part of your story was easy to read.I like that facts that you included. It made me want to read more and learn more the only problem was.....your words are going across the page.
Can you change it so they read downwards, like a book?
    Thank you
