this is what i've been up to during lockdown.
these are some muffins we made, the one without icing are blueberry muffins they are made of...
1 1/2 flour
3/4 sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/3 vegetable oil
1 large egg
1/2 cup of milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
about 1 cup of frozen blue berries
mix it all together in a bowl then put in a muffin tray
we decorated the vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing and different sprinkles. they were really yum!
This is me eating one. It was delicious and creamy. We made 12 of them and they all got eaten in 2 days!
I also went for a walk to the park and played lawn bowling with my mum, brother and step dad. i was pretty good and won a few times.
My step dad takes us for a scooter ride every morning for some exercise and we have lots of fun.
We also did some cool art paintings with string. you paint the whole thing white and then put different colour paint all over the string and make a zig zag pattern and pull it down and it makes a flower. my favourite is the one of right.
That is my lockdown so far! My mum is going to make me update everyday from now on so watch out on my blog.
I am a Year 6 ākonga/student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My kaiko/teacher is Whaea Miki. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful, and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Wow Casper! What a fantastic blog post. It is so nice to see your smiley face, I have been missing you. Yum those cup cakes look amazing, I bet they tasted fantastic. I LOVE your artwork. I would like to try that too. Can you put a step by step instruction (maybe with pictures) to explain how to do it? I look forward to your next post. I have been taking my dog Poppy on walks and biking but staying close to home. I've also been making some things like tomato relish and doing some sewing. I look forward to seeing some more blogs from you. Have a good day :)

Hi Casper, great to see you posting on your blog and what a great quality blog post this is! I'm not surprised the cupcakes and muffins were eaten in 2 days, they look delicious! What cook artwork you have made. I have seen the instructions on how to make this string art but I've never tried it. My favourite is the one on the right too. They look like they have been done on some sort of board or canvas is that right? Have you found a place at home you could display them? I'm pleased you have been getting out, walking and scootering. It is really important to still get some exercise and fresh air. I'm really looking forward to seeing some more posts from you. If you check out the Room 11 blog you will see that I've added a couple of blog posts about what I've been up to.
